something you can do
there are so many websites and organizations out there to which you can donate to benefit the victims of the tsunami. i wish i was educated enough to know which ones are the best, but alas, i am not. i do know that doctors without borders is an excellent organization, and are on the scene. you can donate to them here.
i can also steal a list of organizations from my friend zaypop. it can be found here.
i'll cut and paste them as well.

Websites such as guidestar.org are also very helpful. They provide info on non-profits that will help donors decide which organization they may want to give gifts too.
Money is the best gift people can give right now. In-kind gifts although nice have costs associated with them that people may not realize, such as the agency having to come up with the money to ship and distribute those items, not all non-profits are equipped to do this.
