Anonymous said...: Interestingly, Clinton got sent packing after his first term because he was attacked for being too liberal. That's when Hillary Rhodham changed her name to Clinton and started playing the role of the good wife, and the whole gang started changing their leftist ways. Then he ran again in the next election, and won.

It didn't hurt that both Bill and HIllary were cozy pals with the power players of the state. Hillary even served on Wal-Mart's board of directors during the period when it was evolving from chain-store to full-fledged empire.

Granted, politics is all about compromise. But the Clintons done sold out.
