Well, the one thing I will say about feminism is this - now that we have basically doubld our workforce, somehow we have not actually gained anything as a country. Now, to have the same lifestyle, you NEED a two income house to stay afloat...I am not saying women dont contribute but many things like housing etc. are fixed so the expense only goes up if you add more labor.
This also shows that adding more labor via immigration will not benefit us because we have gone past the point where we have boundless resources as compared to our labor pool as it was when the country was founded.
I think it also says something about how the corporate world works and that we need to get back to a laborcentric government or else people are just going to keep working harder and longer for less each year.
